Just got a call from some scammer called HENRY BANKS (not sure about the W part tho) rang me, I picked up and it just went silent. Tried calling back and got a dumb message saying something like "Hi you're through to Henry B(W)anks, none of our agents are available." What a joke, total losers. I recently received a rather dodgy call from someone purporting to be HENRY BANKS, and quite frankly, it was a waste of time. I picked up the phone, but the line fell silent. Thought I'd give the number a call back, only to be met with a ridiculous automated message introducing me to "Henry B(W)anks" and informing me that none of their agents were on hand. I picked up the phone to a caller claiming to be from Henry Banks regarding a CWI job we had done four years back. They were inquiring whether we had issues like rising damp, and as it happens, we do. Now, I had mine installed a couple of years back and it’s been absolutely fine since then, so I’m baffled as to why they would want to take it out! My call blocker stopped the call so I called it back to find out who was ringing. It was Henry Banks, I looked them up and it looks like they say they can remove your cavity wall insulation because it was poorly fitted! But if your cavity wall insulation is actually keeping your home warm and dry, then it’s probably fine. If you’re seeing damp or condensation marks, then yeah, the insulation might be rubbish and need taking out.
