01625 324015 - Mate mentioned he got a call back in April 2019 from a Macclesfield number, some bloke trying to flog him a funeral plan. He wasn’t having any of it, cut the geezer off sharp, said he had no interest whatsoever. 01625 444936 - Had a right cheeky geezer from London on the blower for nearly an hour, kept calling me George. He was all friendly and nosy, asked to put me on hold to “speak to his manager”. While waiting, I could hear loads of people in the background chatting, trying to get sort codes and bank details - classic call centre vibes. When he was back, he said his manager gave the go-ahead to start things off without any payment, and was pushing me on what I could afford per month in case me or my missus kicked the bucket. Kept calling me “Poll” which made me think he was reading from a bloody script. Pretty sure they were targeting anyone who’d asked about equity release or funeral stuff. The whole lot of them deserve a good talking to with a length of rope.

These people have been ringing me non-stop all morning and throughout my work day, and I really don’t want this number or any of theirs contacting me again.

This is the third time they've rung me over the past few days. Still haven't got a clue what it's about.

I filled out an online form looking for a Funeral Plan quote and expected to get the price straight away. Instead, they just said an agent would call me soon, without giving any actual figures. I emailed them back, asking not to be contacted as I just wanted to compare prices quietly. Since then, I’ve been bombarded with calls starting early morning at 8.57 from 0162532129 four times, 01615328506 three times, plus 01625324019 and 01625324015 twice each. I’ve had even more calls but my phone is full, so I can’t see all the numbers that have been ringing me.

When I call back, it just puts you on hold and then says you’ve rung the wrong extension. If you want to speak to someone, they tell you to call 0800 046 5903 instead.
