Got another annoying call I never asked for.

loads of calls from different numbers tryin to chat about my TV. i cant say for sure if theyre all from this same number tho. i've told them ages ago i dont own that brand of telly and even said im signed up to the opt-out list plus the new data privacy rules. still got a call this arvo. once i nicely said i wanted them to stop ringing me, they just hung up straight away. smells like a scam to me, but i might just let one go a bit longer next time to see what they say.

It was a scam, no doubt about it. They called saying I was paying £7.99 for TV and could get it lowered to £5, which is totally wrong because we don’t pay anything for TV at all. When I told them that, they just hung up on me. Proper annoying.

Is there a way to get a phone number shut down? Feels awful knowing these companies get paid and basically help scammers ring us nonstop. Do we have to reach out to our MPs to get some laws sorted or anything? Really don’t know who to turn to about this.
