Got a call from these lot again earlier, this time a person actually spoke and said they were from BT Openreach. They claimed someone was trying to hack into my internet connection. I just said, "So now you want me to log into my PC and give you my password, right?" This sort of scam needs to be stopped, honestly.

Some woman rang me up saying she was with BT and promised to fix a glitch on my PC. Once I refused to follow her silly instructions, she started calling me daft. Got a couple of calls today from this number, supposedly "BT regarding your broadband." My elderly mum was quite worried about it. This number is well out of order and really needs sorting. Honestly, what kind of place are we living in? I get calls from it like five or six times daily, always ending as it goes to voicemail with no message left and the call cut off quickly. The first time it was some bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from some accident investigation agency. My daughter has already reported it, but they just keep flouting the rules. I've been receiving calls from this number marked as "INTERNATIONAL" on my phone. Even though it resembles a legitimate UK area code, I can assure you it's not. They keep ringing me but never bother to leave a voicemail. I wouldn't trust this number at all.

Yesterday I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who told me his name was Raj and claimed he was from BT Openreach. He said someone had hacked into my computer, which sounded dodgy so I just hung up on him. Then today, the same bloke called again, still sounding like Raj, but this time he said he was with Microsoft. He tried to get me to sit at my computer and follow his steps, but I pretended to listen before putting the phone down and ignoring him. When I checked back after a few minutes, he'd already disappeared.

In the past two weeks, I've received around 15 calls, some coming from this number and others showing up as 'International out of area'. There's another number linked to them that I looked up and it turned out to be a scam as well. Whenever 'Out Reach' rings, I just say "You’re not" and they end the call straight away. It’s always the same lady from somewhere in the Far East. Once I asked if it was Gloria, and she just dropped the call. If you ask them to verify your full name, address and postcode, it seems to confuse them quite a bit - for now at least.

Received a call from 01624 900756 and it was total rubbish. The person on the other end wanted me to enter a certain program on my PC which looked like they were trying to get into it. I pretended to be interested and asked for her name - she said it was Gloria. Halfway through, the call got dropped, but then she rang back right away. Don’t trust this number or hang up quick - it’s certainly nothing to do with Openreach.

Got a call from this number earlier, some woman speaking with an Indian accent. Told her to buzz off and have since blocked the number. I’m sure they’ll try ringing back from another one, these fraudsters never give up. We’re on the TPS list but it doesn’t seem to do much against these dodgy callers.

somebody rang claiming to be from bt openreach, saying they were there to fix my computer which, apparently, had been hacked. then one person put me onto another bloke. i asked for a number so i could ring back and make sure it was legit bt, but he said that was daft coz he could just get a mate next to me to pretend to be from bt anyway. after that, he said he’d email me something and then just ended the call.
