I received three calls today from the number 441624684444, which identified itself as Barclays Fraud Prevention. The thing is, I don't even have an account with them! Quite suspicious, if you ask me.

Utterly dodgy! I received a call purporting to be from Barclays' fraud department, claiming there were suspicious transactions trying to go through on my card. They insisted my phone was compromised with malware that was monitoring my logins. Sounded rather fishy if you ask me! Plus, the number they messaged me from has already raised some red flags for being suspicious.

I received a dodgy call where they urged me to access my Barclaycard app. Clearly a phishing attempt, likely aiming to siphon off money from my account. Interestingly, they'd sent me a text a few days prior claiming to be from Evri, the delivery service. Coincidentally, I was waiting for a parcel, which almost led me to fall for their trick. After that call, I promptly reached out to Barclays to report the whole incident.

I recently contacted Barclays (not on this number) to voice my concerns regarding issues with transferring funds from a charity account overseas. I found the local branch staff rather inconsistent in their advice, and no one seemed capable of resolving the matter. During the lengthy call—which stretched on for almost an hour—I was shuffled over to the overseas payments team, but at no point did anyone inform me that this would incur a fee. I initially dialled in from my mobile, and to my dismay, I've now discovered I've been charged 35p per minute for about 20 minutes of what I assumed was a straightforward call. Is there something dodgy going on with Barclays Bank in this situation?
