Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from a London firm. They said there was a big issue with our internet and offered to sort it out. The number started with 01624, which I know is from the Isle of Man. Definitely a scam.

I picked up the phone but there was silence on the other end, no one said anything or left a message, so I just blocked the number.

Got a call from 01624477887, some bloke with a South Asian accent saying my internet was having issues. He wanted to guide me through fixing my computer setup. Totally fishy, so I dialled 1471 to check the number, showed up the same one. Then when I rang back, a message said the number wasn’t recognised. Pretty sure it’s a scam.
