Got three calls with nothing but silence today (2nd March 2021). So strange.

I got a ring on my mobile, and it looked like it was a mate calling. But as soon as I picked up, the number switched, and it was some telemarketer trying to chat about investments in the financial markets. I ended the call straight away. Nearly a minute later, the same person tried again, showing the number 0162397764 first, then switching to 0151 947 0365. I didn’t answer this time. Seems like they’re faking their caller ID, which makes me reckon whatever they’re pushing is likely dodgy or risky.

Got a call from a person claiming to work for a trading firm or something like that. Didn’t bother to hear them out any further. Just told them to stop calling and then I blocked the number straight away.

They’ve rang me up now four times, and each time I tell them to take me off their list, but they just don't listen. I ended up reporting them as spam to the ICO. When you get a call from a leggit number and try ringin back, it goes dead on you. Best thing is to block it like loads of other folks have said on different sites. They usually call from loads of numbers that are just one digit different, so you gotta block em all or they'll just keep bothering you. They probably got your phone number by buying it off some other company or something.

People calling me said they’re from the UK but I think they’re using some kind of virtual number to cover where they’re really from. Sounds like a scam to push bitcoin trading. Wouldn’t trust them for a second.

Got a call from someone claiming to do 'financial training' and they asked if I’d ever had any training in finance before. They were really trying to figure out how much I know about money and if I'm good with my finances. If that doesn’t seem suspicious, honestly I don’t know what does. They said their name was Training 360. When I told them to never call again, they got really irate and pushy, so I just ended the call.
