7 yearsGot a call from this number, and it was a woman pretending to be from 'Amazon Security'. She said someone tried to order a mobile phone for £399 using my account. She wanted to know if I had actually placed the order, then told me to look for emails from her team to reply to their query. I haven’t received anything from Amazon apart from the usual promo emails, and nothing at all in my Junk folder. When I asked her how I could be sure she was really from Amazon, she just asked me what I wanted her to say! I replied that a genuine Amazon rep would know what to say, then she just hung up on me.
