Nonstop calls from loads of different numbers - 15 at least - have been blowing up my landline every single day for the last ten days. They already have my name and address yet still keep asking for personal info, which seems dodgy. One call even said they were about to cut off my internet, which freaked me out. It’s clear this is some sort of scam. I’ve tried checking the numbers with TPS, but they reckon these types of calls aren’t covered, so I’m stuck. Anyone know who you’re meant to contact to put a stop to this or track these scammers down? I’m really at my wit’s end here.

So this person kept ringing my mum a bunch over a few days, saying she could claim back over £2,000 for bank fees. Today, they said she only had to send £500 first to get the money. When i said there’s no way she’s falling for that, the caller lost it and shouted some horrible insult at me before hanging up. Proper rude and sketchy!

So I answered the phone and some woman who called herself Susan started rambling about some cheque worth more than £3000 waiting for me. She mentioned a solicitor named Mr. Robinson who was supposedly nearby and would deliver the cheque later that day. Then she said I’d need to pay over £200 to this Mr. Robinson to actually get the money. This all happened on Wednesday 29th May. When I told her she was talking rubbish, she just hung up on me.

I got a call from someone pretending to be a police officer, but it was actually a visa scam. Totally dodgy!
