got a call around 10:50 this morning from someone called “Susan” who said she was with talktalk. she said my router had issues and that loads of files were being downloaded. when i asked for her talktalk phone number to ring her back, she wouldn’t give it. i hung up straight away. the same number rang me the day before but as soon as i said hello, they just ended the call.

Just had a rather annoying call from a woman with a thick accent. She was after the individual in charge of the gas and electricity bills. I received a call earlier today where the caller inquired about who takes care of the phone bill. I was asked whether I’m with Sky or Virgin, and then they said they don’t do phone packages, before abruptly ending the conversation. Quite peculiar!

I’ve never heard of this Switch Aid outfit and a quick search online yielded no results. It could be something perfectly harmless, but honestly, if I were looking to change energy providers, I’d much prefer to go through a reputable company rather than someone I know nothing about.
