Received a call claiming to be from some electronic service saying there was suspicious activity on my account. Apparently, there were two purchases trying to go through - one from amazon costing about £130, and the other a big international one for £3000. They never mentioned what bank it was and didn't bother asking me any security details before launching into the story. Felt fishy straight away so I just ended the call right away.

i got a call from a robotic voice claiming two payments were tried on my bank card. they never mentioned which bank it was about. one payment was over a hundred quid, the other was a huge amount, coming from abroad. i hung up straight away.
