Got a call with some robotic voice saying we'd missed a call from our internet company. Didn't bother to hear the rest and just blocked the number straight away.

I was just having a look at my phone logs cause I thought Boots might ring me back. But then I saw this number pop up as the last caller and freaked out a bit. Thought maybe I’d accidentally given my card info to whoever called before (guessing they were from the chemist). Ended up having to block my card just in case!

The individual on the other end of the line mentioned the name of their establishment and stated that the reason for the call was concerning my mobile bill. I wasn't quite certain about what she had said, so I requested her to repeat it. However, even after she did, the company name was still a bit muddled for me. I realised it wasn't the provider I currently use, and when I told her I was unfamiliar with the name she mentioned, she abruptly ended the call.

Got a call from 'Switch It' about a "free" energy saving deal. Turns out 'free' just means they don't get any commission - so don't trust it. They rung me on my landline, which is on the TPS list.

Got a call from a woman who said her name was Lucy and she was with some company called Switch It. She claimed they were an independent service helping people switch energy suppliers, but it all felt a bit dodgy to me. I let her know that I’m registered with the TPS and shouldn’t be getting calls like this. I've also reported it to the ICO now.

I received a call from this number earlier today. When I answered with a "Hello," there was utter silence on the other end. I tried again, still nothing. I eventually informed the caller that I was going to hang up and did just that. It’s becoming increasingly common to get these sorts of calls. I've already lodged complaints about two other numbers that were almost the same, differing only by a single digit - one had a 7 and the other a 5. Whoever is behind this nonsense really ought to have their phone privileges revoked completely. Being disabled makes it particularly trying for me to deal with such disruptions.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent asking about my phone and internet bills, wanted to know how much I’m paying each month. Weird thing is, he already knew my name and even said I was with TalkTalk, just like him. He told me I’d be getting a bill in the post soon but kept trying to fish out more details about my payments. Didn’t give him anything, sounded like a proper scam to me.
