Got a call from 01623452925, a woman asking if I’d bought a £49 Amazon gift card. When I said no, she claimed my IP address had been hacked and offered to secure it and cancel the card. I told her I’d handle it through Amazon myself. She then tried to say the card hadn’t gone through yet and wouldn’t show up until payment was taken. She kept pushing me to check on my devices so she could "help". Total scam, beware!

I got a call from what sounded like a call centre, ringing loads of numbers at the same time. When I answered and said hello, all I got was silence. Really suspicious!

Someone claimed they were with Sky and said my internet was slow, but I just ended the call straight away.
