This number has rung me up 3 times already, ive blocked it but it still keeps coming through.

Received a call and when I picked up, all I got was hold music, then some faint background sounds for a couple seconds, back to the hold music and then they just hung up!! Pretty clear they want you to ring back so they can rip you off with expensive charges!! Like I’ve mentioned already, the government really needs to step in and put an end to these annoying calls.

They rang me twice yesterday and again today. When I answered, they just said hello, then some background noise like a call centre, followed by hold music before cutting off. Definitely dodgy. Same old scam stuff. Blocked straight away.

Got a call from some insurance lot. They asked if I’m ####, I said yeah, then asked if I’m #### ### (full name). I said no and she just kept going like nothing, introducing herself and all that. Started chatin’ about my life insurance and some government changes or something. Tried to pass me to someone who could help with my insurance. When I said now’s not a good time, she sounded a bit annoyed, even though she never checked if it was alright for her to call in the first place! I gave her a right earful and blocked the number straight away :)

Got a call from someone claiming to be from AFA or AFH Insure, asked for me by name. They said they were following up on a life insurance survey I supposedly took part in. I told them I never take surveys and don’t let any third parties have my personal info. They said I should sort it with the survey company and asked if I had life insurance. I told them it’s their job to ensure their data handling complies with GDPR, which they clearly aren’t. They then asked if I could end the call, and I told them to delete my details from their system. I’ve reported the whole thing to the ICO.

Hello there, Today, on the 6th of February, 2020, I got a rather peculiar call from a woman named Nikie. I’m Jin, by the way. The whole thing felt rather unsettling, as she rang and abruptly hung up. When I tried to return the call, she repeatedly claimed she couldn’t hear me at all. It’s quite baffling, to say the least. I feel compelled to make a note of this, as I sincerely hope it isn’t connected to any financial issues. Honestly, in this day and age, it's so confusing what ties into what.
