I've picked up the phone before as it has a familiar local area code. However, after being pestered daily for several weeks, I thought it best to answer and hopefully put an end to the nuisance. A chap questioned whether I was expecting a refund, but I made it clear that I wasn't interested and firmly asked him to cease the calls. He claimed he couldn't do that until I'd received my refund. I pointed out that this felt like harassment, to which he replied that it was likely other companies getting in touch and that my number was sourced from a database. I reminded him that it was his number ringing me and insisted he remove my number, only to be told he couldn't do that either. And lo and behold, just three days later, the phone rings again. How frustrating!
