Got a silent call from this company called Go Green, they sell solar panels and their sales people really hype up the savings you’re supposed to get - bit of an exaggeration if you ask me. I’ve reported the number to TPS already, hopefully Ofcom and TPS will step in soon and put an end to these annoying calls.

I kept answering but no one ever spoke back.

I tried calling back but there was no response. When I called again, a message popped up saying I’d be put through to the next person - but then it just went silent.

I just said hello and they cut me off right away, didn’t even wait a second.

Much more vibrant energy, They asserted that, since it was a call offering me a benefit, it takes precedence over the Telephone Preference Service. I'll be lodging a complaint about this.

I heard nothing but laboured breaths, no words exchanged at all.

I was overhearing a chat between two coworkers, and the moment I greeted him with a hello, he immediately ended the call!

I've been constantly pestered by this bothersome local number. What's the best way to block it? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I answered and asked who it was, but they just hung up straight away without saying a word.

It’s about high time that these persistent telemarketers learned to accept a firm 'no' when they hear it! It’s utterly ridiculous how some companies operate, pushing their agendas without consideration for our response. They really ought to be held accountable for this sort of behaviour!

Has anyone got a clue about these nuisances? They seem to do nothing but stir up worries for elderly folks, leaving them anxious that there’s some sort of trouble brewing. And when you try to return their calls, they just cut you off! Absolutely ridiculous!

I was waiting on a call regarding my dad when my phone rang. A man asked for me by name and then launched into some stuff about the government. I cut him off and asked if he knew about the new laws, then told him I was already stressed waiting for news about my sick father. After that, I just ended the call.

I find myself rather perturbed today, as this marks the third occasion in recent weeks that I've received a call from this company concerning renewable energy. I was quite civil in my request for them to cease their calls, yet the chap on the other end promptly hung up on me. It's worth noting that I share the same area code as them, which did cross my mind as a potential reason to give them a ring back!

I picked up and there was nothing but silence. When I rang back, all I got was some holding music and a message saying I’d be put through to the next free agent.

I can’t say I’ve ever picked up when they call, as I’m usually tied up with work commitments. Each time, I just find their number sitting there as a missed call, and never once do they leave a voicemail! It leaves me wondering - if they’re not inclined to speak when you do answer, what’s the point of calling at all? It's truly baffling!

I picked up but no one was there to talk.

I'm absolutely fed up with this number incessantly ringing me! Every time I try to return the call, I’m met with a robotic American voice insisting that the call is crucial, urging me to hang on. Yet, as soon as I pick up, they hang up on me! It's beyond annoying. I'm inundated with at least three or four of these sales calls every single day. Honestly, I’m at the point of contemplating getting rid of my landline altogether.

There was a noticeable increase in heavy breathing, a stark contrast to the earlier silence.
