They seem to be up to their old tricks once more. This time they say they’re calling from Carphone Warehouse. Don’t fall for it, it’s definitely a con - genuine companies won’t ring you out of the blue and ask for your account info.

When I asked where they got their info from, the caller quickly got rude and started swearing, even asking about my background. These people behind this number are definitely scammers - if they realise you’re onto their scam, they turn aggressive and start harassing you. Avoid them.

I challenged them to prove they were legit by asking for his name - they guessed wrong straight away and I ended the call. Don’t get caught out by these fraudsters!
