Got a call from what looked like a landline asking if I still wanted taxi insurance. Bit odd since I’m not even a taxi driver. Told them no, and they just said sorry and ended the call.

It'd be really helpful if others could share on here who this number belongs to or if they've dealt with it too. I reckon Telecom Providers should be quicker about blocking these types of numbers instead of dragging their feet for weeks.

I’ve had a few calls from 01622963776 today, at least three times. When I finally picked up the third time, there was just silence and some background noise like a call centre, but no one actually spoke. I said hello several times but got nothing back. I held the line for about five minutes before it just cut off. No clue who they are and I can’t find this number on any lookup sites yet. They barely let it ring more than three times, pretty sure it’s some dodgy business trying to scam folks! Keep an eye out.
