Received a rather peculiar phone call from some bloke claiming he worked for Keep It Simple or something along those lines, attempting to convince me he could lower my BT charges. I politely declined and hung up the phone.

Some overly eager chap rang me up, jabbering on about my BT line or some such nonsense... managed to put an end to that right quick!

I received a recorded message purporting to be from my bank, informing me that my credit card has been compromised. They mentioned suspicious transactions to Amazon amongst other things. Out of concern, I decided to call the number back from a different device, only to discover it's non-existent. Quite alarming, to say the least!
