Interestingly, a couple of hours earlier, I had a missed call from another Maidstone number, 01622 890019. I’ve never encountered any calls from that area code before, and Maidstone is a good 100 miles away from where I live. I looked up the number and discovered it belonged to a guest house, but when I tried to call back, I only got an engaged tone. Then, just after that, I had this subsequent call from the other Maidstone number.
