I received a call from a firm claiming they were subcontracted by Sky to handle installations. They insisted I cough up £120 for a new setup, which Sky had assured me would be complimentary. The caller went so far as to say that Sky was misinformed about their own terms and conditions! Naturally, I decided to ring up Sky and they clarified that I shouldn't owe anything for the installation. Turns out, this whole thing was nothing but a dodgy scam!
