I’ve received a request for some money, but I'm clueless about what the penalty could be. It's got me feeling rather anxious, to be honest.

My partner also got a similar sum of £337. It really strikes me as dubious. The whole situation is quite murky, to say the least.

I received a demand for a fine amounting to £350, supposedly from the magistrates' court in West Sussex. However, I noticed that my surname was misspelled on the document. Additionally, there's a peculiar charge of £30 labelled as "victim sur," which I find quite baffling and have no idea what it refers to.

This appears to be a magistrates' court located in Maidstone.

I've made several attempts to reach out to this number over the last three days, yet all I get in response is the dreaded "apologies, all our operators are currently engaged" message. I've been ringing them from morning till closing time, but bizarrely, it feels like they’re perpetually swamped. It's starting to feel quite intentional!

We recently received a letter from this company insisting that we owe them money, which we find rather baffling as we have no recollection of any such debt. They haven't provided any details regarding the supposed amount due or the nature of the debt itself, which leaves us scratching our heads in confusion.

The HMCS was legitimate, and it turns out there was a problem with the DVLA regarding a vehicle we previously owned. We've settled the fine, and everything is now sorted. We did point out that the lack of clarity regarding the reason for the fine was a bit deceptive, which made it seem like it could be a scam. However, they have acknowledged our concerns about this matter.
