Got a call from Maidstone, Kent, with some really annoying American or Canadian accent. They were telling me I owed £100 and another £99, saying stuff like “If you didn’t make these charges, press 1, 2 or 3 to speak to someone!” It was some World Remit scam. Just ignore and delete these messages, folks. Before this, I had a similar call from a greasy-sounding American voice pretending to be from Amazon, then they followed up with that same World Remit number. Total rubbish!
