They seemed to know my name and mentioned that I had requested information about a conservatory, which I had, but not with their company. They’ve managed to set up an appointment to come and provide a quote. Now I’m feeling a bit uneasy about the whole situation, so I intend to ring them up and cancel.

I just received a rather unsettling call from someone claiming to be from 'Weathershield', stating that I had asked about roof coating. What’s particularly alarming is that they knew my name! I’ve never contacted them and I was completely unaware of this company. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

I tried calling back a couple of times immediately after my phone rang, but there was no answer. I didn't recognise the Maidstone number and initially thought it might be the hospital calling. Clearly, that wasn't the case since no one picked up. Moreover, it turns out this isn't even the right number.

I’m a bit uncertain, but reflecting on that call, it seems likely it could be a windows company based in Maidstone. A couple of months ago, we received a similar call from that area regarding windows, and my daughter informed them that we were out at the time.
