I picked up and the call just cut out straightaway.

I got a call from 01622 534157 about a security alarm system that gives you round-the-clock assistance if you ever press it in an emergency. Didn’t really want to hear it, so I’ve just blocked the number now.

This lady called me and mentioned my last name right away. She said she was some sort of Support Worker, probably offering medical help or something related to my postcode. I told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call, then blocked her number straight away.

Got seven calls from this number, same question every time if I was Mr Prentice. Definitely a scam, best to just ignore.

I’m not entirely sure if it was a spam call or not. The person called seemed to be selling something and oddly enough, they knew our names. I didn’t stick around for long though, hung up fairly quickly.
