Absolutely a scam masquerading as BT! These individuals aren’t affiliated with the actual BT at all, so exercise caution and refrain from divulging any personal details to them!

Got a call claiming I’d won a prize from KCOM, and since I’m actually with them, I went ahead and gave my details including my address. Then they asked me to ring 01622523144, but right away, the accent gave it away - total scam. Stay alert everyone, really really watch out!

watch out this phone number seems linked to a bt scam, ive seen it connected to loads of different firms too. no one picks up if you try to call back. so yeah, best to stay clear of it.
