Received a complimentary alert from wwwtedalertuk.

I've noticed that a firm called Ted Alert from Maidstone seems to be aggressively pushing their products to senior citizens. It’s rather concerning how pushy their sales tactics are when it comes to older folks.

Received a call from someone who didn't identify themselves. They were quite persistent in urging my elderly neighbour to purchase an alarm system she clearly had no interest in. It was rather upsetting to witness her reluctance to firmly ask them to leave her alone.

Should you receive a call from Ted Alert on this number, it's best to ignore it. They're attempting to con elderly individuals into purchasing their alarm systems, which is nothing short of harassment.

This number has tried to reach me multiple times, but as soon as I pick up, they hang up. I've now decided to add them to my blocked list.

Extremely concerning and persistent; they've crossed the line into harassment now. I strongly advise against answering calls from them, as they seem to collect personal information. I've decided to escalate this matter to the authorities.

I've had a few calls in my locality—three in total that I didn’t pick up, but I did notice the number when I arrived back home. That makes for four calls in the span of just six days!

I've been receiving calls from an unknown number, and they seem to ring me about two or three times daily without ever leaving a message. Quite irritating, to say the least!

Received a call from an unknown number that didn't bother to leave any message. I happen to be ex-directory, so I'm baffled as to how this number managed to reach me. I'm quite tired of the incessant barrage of unwanted calls from unfamiliar sources, especially this one, which I consider nothing short of harassment!

I decided to return the call to this number. Upon doing so, I was greeted by a cacophony of voices giggling and chatting away. The reception was incredibly muffled, making it quite challenging to hear anything clearly. It was clear they had no idea that I was on the line, just eavesdropping. Quite frustrating, if I’m honest! I’ll be blocking this number without a second thought.

I pressed the Ted Alert panic button, explaining that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. They assured me that they'd take my details out of their system. However, I have my doubts about whether they’ll actually follow through.

This number has been ringing my home phone for quite some time now. Every time, it goes directly to my voicemail, which must be quite the expense for them. I never pick up, and I've started keeping a record of their digits for reference down the line.

What a bunch of con artists! I was told to shove off quickly. Absolute rubbish!

This number keeps ringing me and it’s an absolute bother—I've had to block it!

Nuisance callers! They've rung me not once, but twice in the last six months. I've since blocked the number because it's utterly futile to answer. Yet, it appears they haven’t quite grasped that there's no one to chat with at this end!

I received calls from this number both yesterday and today. Since I’ve got it on my blocked list, they’re just spinning their wheels, really. My phone doesn’t even notify me; it simply ends the call after four rings on their side.

I didn't even give her a moment to speak. I rather bluntly directed her off, to be honest. What puzzles me is, being ex-directory, how on earth do they already know my name and that I’m a retiree? It leads me to suspect that it’s some sort of list the government has peddled off.

I received a call from this number just a short while ago—about six minutes, to be precise. I immediately hit the block call feature, and thankfully, it cut the call off.

I've been receiving numerous calls each week, and it's becoming an absolute bother.

I've received multiple calls from this number, and yet they never bother to leave a message. Quite peculiar, really!

Maybe the next Prime Minister will come up with a solution to put an end to these pesky and fraudulent phone calls?

It's really frustrating when these individuals don't bother to leave a proper message. Clearly, it's just all a ruse!

Received a call earlier about a complimentary alarm service for those over 65, apparently a pendant type device. They mentioned they'd get back to me the next day. Just a heads up, I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list.

A courteous lady inquired after someone named Mr Humphreys. I informed her that no one by that name resided here, to which she expressed her apologies and promptly hung up.

I've had previous experiences with them, and their sales tactics can be quite aggressive. I must admit, I would have felt quite intimidated if I had been on my own during the encounter.

When I picked up, there was nothing but silence on the other end. This number appears to be from the Maidstone area code. I've decided to block it after reading the comments on this site.

I had a rather courteous woman on the line who informed me that I might qualify for a complimentary lifeline alarm, promising a callback within a day if I was lucky. I politely declined her offer, to which she responded with a friendly, "That's absolutely fine," before ending the call.

016223997374 ~ Maidstone ~ I've been receiving calls from someone promoting a home alarm system aimed at over-65s. They’ve now earned a spot on my D.N.A. list—definitely Not Answering!

They didn't bother to leave a message, so I've looked up the number and I've decided I'm not picking up if they call again.

I had a rather curious interaction with a well-spoken lady who seemed to know my name. She was calling from TED Alert, asking if anyone in my home was over 65 years of age. After that, she informed me about a complimentary community lifeline service that might be available to us. Apparently, if we meet the criteria, we'd hear back within a day. Quite the intriguing offer, I must say!

I received a call earlier today from this number. The individual on the other end was quite courteous and was promoting personal alarms tailored for those over 65. They also mentioned GPS trackers and SOS buttons suited for lone workers, explorers, and young kids. It's certainly an interesting concept, though it doesn't quite suit my needs.

I've just had my second call from Ted Alert. The first time they asked if I was over 65 and if I'd like to know more about what they offered. I politely declined. Today, they rang me again, but when I picked up, the line was dead. Fingers crossed they took note of my previous refusal. I've since blocked their number, and I truly hope they face some hefty consequences for their persistence.

I've been inundated with phone calls from something called TED Alert Lifeline. It seems they're targeting individuals aged 65 and above, and I can't quite fathom why they keep bothering me with these unnecessary communications.

This number just won’t stop ringing me! It's wise to ignore any calls from unfamiliar digits. They’re clearly up to no good and likely flouting the law, although I suppose that hardly matters!

I've reached out to the Telephone Preference Service, and they've been in touch with Ted Alert regarding the regulatory infraction. Apparently, the TPS is sending a follow-up letter. They've given the company a fortnight to reply. Fingers crossed that, being an emerging business, they decide to put an end to their cold calling antics. Here’s hoping for the best!

I received a call from someone claiming to be Ted Alert who inquired if I was older than 65. They've been ringing me twice daily! I only realised this since I’m off work for the week. Curiously, our home number is ex-directory, so it’s a bit puzzling how they found us.

Update: turns out it’s actually TedAlert, not PedAlert (despite me spelling it out and requesting confirmation!). Seems to be a legitimate enterprise, but they’re still flouting the regulations by reaching out to individuals on the TPS list, so they really ought to face consequences.

I've been receiving calls from the same number for the past couple of days. I provided the same answer on both occasions. What’s the point of ringing me again?

I've just received a call from Ted Alert Lifeline Systems. They had previously reached out to inquire if we were over 65, and today's call seemed like a dedicated follow-up. They mentioned that we could potentially have the system fitted without any cost. However, it was a bit concerning that they didn’t verify whether our number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

I happened to fumble my phone whilst trying to pick up the call. Someone was definitely on the line, but when I said, "Sorry about that! Hello, how can I assist you?" they just hung up on me. Quite odd, really!

A woman with a British accent rang me up, claiming to represent Pedalert. She inquired if I was over the age of 65. When I informed her that I wasn't, she promptly mentioned that she would take my details off their list.
