Got a rather quiet call today. If someone happens to ring claiming to represent Windows, I simply respond with, "Cheers for the offer, but we've already installed double glazing! Ta-ra!" This is the first time I've had such a call in what feels like ages. Absolute scammers, I tell you!

My phone buzzed, and when I answered, there was complete silence. I hung up without saying a word, and then suddenly, the call just ended.

In just one day, I received six phone calls all claiming to be Windows support. The callers varied in accents; some were men, some were women, and I heard everything from Asian to Eastern European to American tones. By the time the sixth call came through, I had enough and told the chap he was nothing but a scammer and to cease calling me. I hung up, only to have him ring me back moments later, hurling all sorts of abuse. What a wretched crew they are!
