I got a call from this number saying they were with HSBC. They claimed there was a £1300 withdrawal attempt from my account, supposedly by Amazon. Then they asked me to go online and activate my account. I didn’t fall for it, but I reckon some folks who aren’t as careful might. Banks don’t ask you to do stuff like that, so best just to ignore and hang up.
