I tried calling back without revealing my number, and when someone picked up, it was just a voice that sounded Asian saying 'hello'. Definitely not a legitimate business! I'm tempted to keep ringing and then hanging up just to irritate him. I reckon you lot should give it a go too!

I could barely make out what the chap was saying. It sounded like an Indian accent, but it was so mumbled that all I caught was something about a special promotion. It may have had something to do with O2 mobiles, but honestly, I couldn’t understand a word of it.

Fraudulent call! They claim to be from O2, and even flash a Maidstone area code, but it's clearly an overseas call centre (most likely based in India). The caller ID hilariously labels them as "Potential Fraud." Quite the twist of fate, wouldn’t you agree?

It seems that O2 is supposedly providing a 40% reduction on my bills as a result of Covid! Feels like a complete con if you ask me.

I recently received a rather dubious phone call from an individual with an Indian accent, who stated he was representing O2 and offering a tantalising 40% discount on my bill. As the conversation progressed, he began probing me with questions and even sent through a couple of texts. Then, rather alarmingly, he requested the last four digits of my bank card - to which I firmly declined, asserting that I wouldn’t be duped by a scam or fraudulent scheme. Despite his insistence that he was indeed a legitimate O2 representative, I suggested he send me the information via postal service before hanging up. Shortly after, a second call came in from another chap, also sporting an Indian accent, who claimed to be the manager and was after the same sensitive information. Again, I refused and reiterated my request for the details to be sent in the post. He promptly terminated the call. Just a heads up, this reeks of a scam!

Received a call on my O2 mobile from the number 01622 370134. I haven't shared my mobile number with any businesses or individuals in Maidstone. I opted not to pick up, as I recognised the number and had previously noted it down after verifying here. Much appreciated!

I received a call from someone with a distinct foreign accent claiming to be from O2. I was rather pressed for time as I was heading out. I received a call from someone claiming I could nab a 40% discount by clicking a certain link, but the chap didn’t even know my name. He was clueless about my current monthly charges or the allowance I had. It’s utterly disgraceful how some individuals go about trying to swindle hardworking folks out of their money. What’s worse is the emotional toll it takes—once people discover they’ve been hoodwinked, it leaves lasting scars. Such experiences contribute to a pervasive sense of mistrust, making victims feel as if they’re living in a world rife with deceit where no one can be relied upon.
