I tried ringing them back and got their voicemail, then they gave me another number 01618278150 Red Star. A woman picked up there and I told her to stop calling me, but they seem to use loads of different numbers from different places. Not sure if they have people working all over or if they just use some kind of software to hide where the calls come from. The woman sounded really casual about it though, like she didn’t care.

I was waiting for a call about my cooker so I picked up even though I usually ignore numbers I don’t know. The bloke said he was from Red Star or something? I asked if it was about my cooker cos that’s what I’m waiting for, and told him if it wasn’t, I was too busy to chat! Got a call saying I was owed a refund from a credit card I supposedly used back in 2009! They asked if I had a Barclays or Capital One card, I said no, then they just hung up. Pretty clear that was a scam.
