Got a call out of the blue from someone saying they worked for a utility broker linked with a council in Kent. Thing is, I’m way over in Shropshire, like 200 miles away or more! They asked about my utility contracts, but I didn’t share anything. The woman on the line was polite enough, but it all felt pretty strange - why would a distant council want that info? Seems like it was probably just a spam call.
