The call was really poor quality, with what sounded like loads of noise like a busy call centre in the background. The woman on the other end had a strong South Asian accent and said she was from my mobile network. I told her I’d ring back later. Also, it seems odd there is zero record of this number here on who-called, which you’d expect if it was a genuine call from a big mobile company’s contact centre. Plus, the lag and dodgy sound made me think it was probably some scammer from India using number spoofing and overloading a cross-border SIP line.
