I got a recorded call claiming to be from my bank, saying there was unusual activity on my Amazon account. Apparently, someone had made a payment of £300 and was about to spend £1000 more. The message told me to press 1 for details but then just hung up after that, no real person spoke to me at all. Obviously, I didn’t press any buttons. It felt dodgy straight away - definitely a scam call.
