Got a call from 21494302, which I found out is a Maldon area code in Essex. The caller wanted to speak to whoever owns the house, then launched into a typical sales pitch about some government scheme or incentives. I asked them flat out if it was a sales call, and without a word, they just ended the call! Been there, done that, so I went and reported the number for spam and harassment on the Telephone Preference Service online. Takes just a few minutes, no account needed, and it actually helps them get fined. Worth doing if you get calls like this.

I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise but missed the ring so couldn’t tell who it was. When I answered, there was a recorded message saying the call “cannot be connected.” I’ve had a few calls before pretending to be from BT, threatening to cut off my internet if I don’t cooperate. Not sure if this was the same one. Anyway, I decided to call the number back.

Today i picked up a call from this number but they just ended it straight away. There were two other calls from the same number yesterday that i missed. Im just gonna block them now.

I got a call from some bloke pushing to check our loft insulation. When I mentioned I wasn't sure the call was legit, he just ended the call straight away.
