I told them straight up they were talking rubbish as I’ve never had anything like that happen. Definitely a scam call. I’m registered with the telephone preference service, so really shouldn’t be getting these kinds of calls. The woman on the other end, who claimed to be from a company, was ridiculously rude. She just shouted at me, calling me names like "you stupid idiot" and then slammed the phone down.
