Just wanted to add to what I mentioned before. When I rang this number again, I couldn’t get through at all, which made me even more sure it’s a scam. The person on the phone seemed really convincing, but then they asked me to head over to BT headquarters in London and wanted to get into my computer! Definitely watch out for this one.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying my internet was involved in some dodgy stuff. They told me to head to the BT offices in London right away. Before that, they asked me to look at some message they supposedly sent on my computer. It didn’t feel right, so I just told them to piss off. This was a new trick I hadn’t heard of before. Seemed legit at first, but watch out folks.
