I got a call from someone speaking with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT. She said my phone bill would be lowered starting next month. She asked for my name and address to "verify" and then tried to get me to give my bank details to update the direct debit. That felt dodgy straight away, so I told her it was a scam and ended the call. If BT already has my direct debit set up, why would they need me to send my bank info again? Total nonsense.
