Some bloke claimed he was with British Telecom but got my name totally wrong. I have an old landline that belonged to someone else before me, and honestly, I get loads of scam calls meant for that person. I just ended the call straight away. After that, he rang me back a bunch of times from different numbers, yelling at me for hanging up and calling me rude. In the end, I had to block five separate numbers from the same guy using BT call protect.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from BT’s tech team about my internet. When I mentioned putting her through to our tech support, she just hung up straight away. Totally a scam or some phishing trick!
