I received a call from an individual purporting to represent BT, claiming there were issues with my Internet connection. However, she had no clue what my name was and couldn’t provide me with any account number, which is puzzling since I’m not even with BT! Clearly, it was a scam attempt.

Regular calls in the evening from this unknown number.

I've been receiving calls from this number repeatedly, and every time I pick up, they just disconnect. Quite often, I can hear sounds in the background that hint it's from a call centre. It's rather frustrating!
