Received a rather annoying automated message regarding some kind of debt recovery.

I recently encountered some dubious debt con artists who had the audacity to say they represented the government, promising to liberate me from my debts. I straight away informed them that I’m already living debt-free. Even if I weren’t, there’s no chance I’d accept their so-called assistance!

Some scam about debts, saying the government will cancel all of them. I chatted with the bloke for a solid ten minutes, pulling his leg, before he finally cottoned on I was winding him up.

I got a call from this bloke earlier today but he didn’t pick up when I rang back. Then, just a couple of minutes ago, he rang me again from the same number so I took the call. He started talking about me owing some debt or whatever, but he never said what kind. Didn’t sound right to me, so I just ended the call. For the record, I’m not in any kind of debt at all.
