I quickly told them I don't do cold calls, ended the call and then decided to look them up here.

Got a random call from someone with an accent, saying they've switched on some kind of 'call guard' on my phone to stop annoying calls. But when I kept asking who they were, after just a couple of questions they just cut me off. That made me pretty sure it was dodgy. I already have call blocking set up, so this felt more like harassment or a scam trying to fish for info or trick people. Definitely wouldn’t trust it.
