It was most certainly a scam. I didn’t pick up when it rang but checked the number using 1471 afterwards. Tried ringing back and the number didn’t even exist.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming it was about a national accident scam. I told him straight away it was a scam and he just hung up on me! Typical.
