I received a call from a chap named Joseph who referred to himself as an energy consultant or some sort of similar nonsense. His voice struck me as rather artificial, almost like something you'd expect from a computer program. I didn't bother engaging with him; I simply hung up. Honestly, these sorts of calls are quite tedious and just get on my nerves!

Received a call around 1 pm today. It felt like it was made through an automatic dialler, with a jumble of voices in the background. Unfortunately, the line dropped before we could have a proper chat.

It's astonishing that these fraudsters continue their antics — one has to wonder if that many unsuspecting folks are taken in by their tricks for it to be profitable. If that's the case, then we’re in a bit of trouble, aren’t we?

Just had a call from some fella claiming to be a local energy consultant, prattling on about loft insulation options. Quite baffling, really, as we're on the telephone preference service, so I've no idea how these calls keep sneaking through. I politely told him I wasn't keen on answering any queries and asked if he could scrap my details from their list. Would you believe it, the line went dead!

Once again, my phone rang from a number I didn’t recognise, and, predictably, there was no answer. A message was left, purporting to be from an energy advisor discussing loft insulation. It was rather funny how they anticipated a reply, considering the answer machine was already running! Clearly, it's dodgy and nothing more than a scam. I've reported the number and added it to my block list.
