7 hoursYet another annoying spam call! I just picked up, stayed silent, then hung up on them - fair game, right? This round it might have been payday loans, debt help nonsense, or some dodgy energy saver offer. I’m getting like 3 to 5 calls every day on both my mobile and landline! Honestly, why don’t these people find a real job instead of pestering everyone? Someone really needs to crack down on these pests and hunt them out!1 dayGot a call from someone named David, said he was with some Homeowners Association. Said it wasn’t a sales pitch but a government-ordered compliance check for your home, something about loft insulation and needing a certificate. I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Then, a few hours later, the same David rings again, giving the same spiel, but this time the number showed up as Edinburgh 0131 381 5921. Feels like a scam to me - they probably want you to pay for false ‘non-compliance’ stuff that isn’t needed. Watch out!DavidHomeowners AssociationEdinburghuk2 daysI answered the phone but no one spoke. Then this fake American-sounding woman kept saying, "Thanks for calling, we are trying to connect you," over and over again like a loop. I've seen this happen before with other spammy numbers listed here. Glad to have blocked another one!3 daysSo I got this ridiculous call from a supposed scammer, totally clueless and quite rude. They rang me from this number and asked if I was Missy Clark. Obviously, I said no, but they kept insisting I was. Then, out of the blue, they launched into some spiel about debt relief. I cut them off and told her who she was really calling. That’s when the woman started shouting at me, calling me a bloody liar. I told her if she doesn’t even know who she’s dialing, she’s either daft or a scammer. Then she just hung up! Absolutely bonkers, lol.Missy ClarkSubmit Your Own Report (0161 989 5928)
