I got a call from a recorded woman’s voice with a proper English accent claiming she was from the Visa and Mastercard security team at my bank. She said there was a payment of £600 sent abroad just 15 minutes earlier. Then she started telling me to press certain buttons, like ‘Press 1 to cancel the payment.’ I just ended the call straight away.
