Just received a text saying I’m signed up for updates on a £500 Top Shop voucher from Crazywin.co.uk, and it’s costing me £4.50 weekly. If I want to cancel, apparently I need to text STOP to 87066. Anyone know if this is legit? The contact number given is 01619830002.

I've been battling with exorbitant charges linked to this number. I've sent a text saying "stop", but it’s quite infuriating, to say the least. I’m on a modest income and I only pay £8 for my SIM-only deal, yet the bills keep skyrocketing, all associated with this number.

I reckon I stumbled upon this number and it left me rather puzzled! It feels like trying to decipher a riddle wrapped in a mystery. Anyone else had a similar experience with it? What on earth could it mean?

I've never registered with their service at all. Yet, I'm constantly being informed that I'm being billed £4.50 each month, and I can't for the life of me figure out where this money is disappearing to. It seems to be nowhere in my accounts. I'm quite hesitant to send a 'STOP' message to the number they provided, as I'm worried it might complicate matters further.

I honestly can't believe I got caught out by this scam. I was sure I was signing up for some M&S contest or something. I get loads of spam messages, so I didn’t really pay attention to texts from CrazyWin and had no clue they were charging me £4.50 on my EE phone bill. My son’s been very poorly, so I wasn’t really checking my messages and just deleted ones from CrazyWin without a second thought. After six months, I’ve just found out they’ve taken more than £100! I feel proper let down and so annoyed with myself. How do these people even live with themselves?!

How on earth can this company bill me when I've never given my consent or signed up for anything? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Also, what steps can I take to halt those pesky texts and stop these charges?

I've recently received a message from this number claiming that I’ve subscribed to some £500 vouchers, which is simply untrue! It mentions a fee of £4.50 weekly for these non-existent vouchers. Is it advisable to reply with "STOP" to the number 87066? I'm a bit wary about the whole thing.

I received a message from this number claiming that I’ve signed up for £500 worth of vouchers, but I’m certain I haven’t done anything of the sort. The text mentions a weekly fee of £4.50 for these vouchers. Is it wise to reply with “STOP” to the number 87066?

I’ve fallen victim to this number, which has been billing me for competitions I never signed up for. I attempted to call them, but it turns out they don’t operate on Sundays. I plan to give them a ring first thing on Monday and insist on a refund. Just a heads up to everyone about this number!

I recently fell victim to this con as well and ended up having to replace my SIM card. Thankfully, I’m on a pay-as-you-go plan, but I still found myself out of pocket by £14.50. It’s absolutely infuriating that they’re allowed to pull off such blatant theft without consequence!

I had forgotten my Gmail details and searched online for a way to get them back. The site gave some info then asked me to click on some options, well you can guess what came after that. I gave the number 0161 983 0002 a go for a reverse lookup, but it didn’t come up with anything.

I've just noticed a charge of £3.92 on my latest bill for a mere 49 seconds of chatting. It turns out this was in connection with a Facebook response regarding an offer from M and S. Luckily, I was quick to block those pesky text messages as soon as they started rolling in. It was only today when I glanced at my bill and decided to investigate that number that I stumbled across this unexpected fee. Quite the surprise, I must say!

I initially assumed it was a Marks and Spencer deal that popped up on Facebook. To my surprise, after signing up, I discovered it was linked to a ludicrous 'crazy win' account that has docked £4.50 from my bank regularly! I promptly dialled 0330030581, their customer service, and managed to get everything associated with them blocked. Furthermore, I've taken the liberty of preventing any text messages from reaching my phone. Just the other day, I received another message suspiciously resembling one from Thomas Cook. It's all rather tiresome!

I've noticed a deduction of £4.50 for a contest that my son never took part in, and it seems like this amount will keep being taken from my account weekly. I attempted to call and sort this out, but the office was shut. What a right con!

It’s absolutely vital that you flag these scams involving premium rate numbers without delay to www.phonepayplus.org.uk/. This organisation, authorised by OFCOM, oversees the regulation of such numbers. If we all take the time to report these incidents, it will amass a solid collective case for them to take further steps if necessary. You’ll find all the assistance you need is laid out on their site, including their contact details. They can verify the name of the fraudulent company and assist in halting their operations. I would also strongly recommend that you pursue a refund from the scammer directly.

One quiet evening, I stupidly signed up for some Tesco voucher draw. It wasn’t until after I’d entered that I got a text saying I’d be charged £4.50 weekly from then on. I rushed to text STOP but it was already too late. O2 then told me they’d taken the £4.50 from my account. It’s beyond me why these dodgy companies get to slap extra charges on my O2 bill. Only a proper lowlife would be working for any of these rip-off firms, like Tap2Pay or Glomedia (or whatever their name is). Completely dodgy!

I thought I was entering a competition for M&S on Facebook. Next thing I know, I receive a text informing me that my phone has been billed £4.50 for a weekly subscription to crazywin.co.uk.

I reached out to EE, and they confirmed that while I would indeed be charged, they can block any future payments from my account. They also advised me to contact the service provider directly, but it's just an automated response line that supposedly helps you unsubscribe from their offerings. Here’s the number: 03330 030581 and their email is [email protected].

If you've fallen victim to this, do keep an eye on your Facebook timeline as well - be sure to remove any ads linked to your profile, as it could end up ensnaring your friends too.

I entered a draw for M&S through an email I received (definitely not in my junk mail). Now, they're set to charge me £4.50 a week, and I can't find a way to cancel it! They've provided a number for cancellations, but every attempt I make to call it just doesn’t work. I'm really at a loss about how to stop this or who to get in touch with to report the issue.

I thought I was just doing a simple Amazon feedback form, but later got a message saying I was in a £500 prize draw and that I'd be charged £4.50 weekly. Tried texting ‘stop’ to opt out, but no luck. When I contacted 02, they told me I’d accidentally subscribed to a premium text service linked to Amazon after filling in the survey. They ended up blocking the number and the service for me. Seems it's connected to some site called crazywin[###].

What a con! I entered a Tesco raffle for a £500 voucher, yeah I guess I was daft! But they never mention you have to pay £4.50 right off the bat, only find that out after you sign up! By then it’s too late. They keep taking £4.50 from you weekly unless you text stop. Feels like they’re just nicking money from you nonstop. Absolute rip-off!

I signed up for a chance to win £500 in Tesco vouchers, but then they messaged me saying it’d cost £4.50 every week just to stay in the draw. They told me to text STOP if I didn’t want to be charged. If they do end up taking money from my account, I’m definitely going to report it to the cops. This has got scam written all over it!

I saw what looked like a Facebook post from M&S about a prize draw and put my mobile number in. Later found out that by doing that I was signing up to pay £4.50 a week - didn’t expect that at all. I got in touch with M&S who said it was definitely a scam. I’ve also reported it to my phone network since it’s against the law and sent a text saying ‘stop’ to the number straight away. Now just hoping they don’t try to take any cash from me.

On the 4th of April 2016, this number came up linked with some dodgy contests claiming you could win Apples stuff. They said they were partnered with Facebook and Apple or Nokia - it wasn’t very clear which. They told me I’d won a Nokia 800, then tried getting me to accept an iPhone 6 as a prize. If anyone’s got more info, please share! Cheers.

This so-called competition outfit is nothing but a bunch of crooks, happily fleecing folks of their hard-earned cash while skillfully dodging the watchful eyes of the regulators. Steer clear, I tell you, steer clear!

This number belongs to a dubious telemarketing outfit that operates like a competition scam. They're bombarding people's inboxes, attempting to entice unsuspecting individuals into signing up for weekly fees under the false pretense of entering a competition with absolutely no realistic chance of winning. It’s about time these sorts of businesses were put out of commission, and their operators held accountable for their deceitful practices.
