I rang back after it went straight to voicemail but no one left any message. When I called again, a woman picked up. She said this wasn’t the first time she got calls saying she supposedly called someone. Recently, she got a call threatening her that she owed about £600 or something. Now, loads of calls, like nine or so, have been saying they missed a call from her number and it’s really worried her. I told her to get in touch with the police as soon as possible.

Also, I think when reporting to the police, everyone should bring up the need to ban the sale of hacking apps online, especially those aimed at IT students.
