Got a few calls lately from some call centre offering to handle Google ad management for me, never asked for it though. Bit annoying receiving these random sales pitches out of the blue.

When my kid answered the phone with "Thank you for calling Papa John's," the caller just hung up straight away. Weird!

A mate of mine received a call claiming she'd won a holiday, but they insisted she hop over to the Trafford Centre in Manchester. Now, she was actually keen on visiting Manchester, but when she told the caller this, he snapped back, “So you’re just wasting my time then.” To which she shot back, “Absolutely, just as you’re wasting mine!” He abruptly ended the call, how dreadfully impolite! It’s astonishing why some people think it’s acceptable to be so thoroughly unpleasant on the phone like that.

So, there’s this digital marketing agency called AddPeople, they’re actually a top Google partner. They give a ring to folks who seem to be having trouble with their AdWords campaigns to offer some help. But if you tell them you’re not interested, they won’t bother you again.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a google ad partner, they said they could handle my ads better but charged way more than google does. Seems a bit dodgy to me.
