I got called by a woman with a thick Indian accent claiming she was from BT, saying that someone was using my internet connection without permission. I couldn't catch everything she was saying clearly but had a feeling she was about to ask me to log into my computer or some nonsense. I quickly found a reason to hang up 'cause it all felt fishy to me. Plus, I don’t reckon BT would ring me from a number based in Manchester.

Got a call from a woman with a really heavy Indian accent claiming she was with BT, saying someone was using my internet. She was hard to follow, but it felt like she wanted me to go on my computer to "check something." It seemed fishy, so I quickly found a reason to hang up. Surely BT wouldn't be ringing from a number based in Manchester, right?
